PV3D is the format the viewer reads. Start from an example, or bring your own.
Already-converted traces on the server. Pick one to skip straight to the viewer.
Loads the trace and builds the geometry, so the ranks are on screen while you pick a metric in step 3 and watch the colouring follow.
Hiding is visual only — durations and percentiles still
describe every call. Setup and query calls (MPI_Init, MPI_Comm_rank, MPI_Cart_…)
belong to neither class and stay visible. To leave calls out of the statistics as well,
re-convert with otf2_to_pv3d_v2.py --region-list … --region-list-mode
ignore.
Derived from this trace’s length so one full play-through lasts about 20 seconds. Zooming the timeline in refines it from there, and the field shows what it is now.
Re-renders with everything currently selected.
